My Story

I am a mom to a wonderful 5-year-old who absolutely lives for coloring. It started as a rainy-day activity but quickly became part of our daily routine — weekend mornings at the kitchen table, quiet time after lunch, birthday party favors we make ourselves. Watching my child light up over a fresh coloring page is one of my favorite things.

But finding the right pages was always a struggle. Most free sites were cluttered with ads, the designs were either too simple or too complex, and I could never find that very specific thing my kid was asking for — a unicorn riding a skateboard, a dinosaur eating pizza, a cat astronaut.

One afternoon my kid asked me for a coloring page I simply could not find anywhere. That was the moment I decided to build my own tool. I wanted something that lets any parent create exactly the coloring page their child is dreaming of — in seconds, with no design skills needed. That idea became Colored by Me.

Today I spend my time writing about coloring techniques, curating free printable pages, and improving the AI tools behind the site. Everything here is tested at our kitchen table first.

What I Write About

My articles focus on the things I know from daily experience: which coloring pages work best for different age groups, how coloring supports fine motor skills and focus in young children, and practical tips on tools, paper types, and techniques that actually make a difference.

I also cover the creative side — how to turn photos into coloring pages, how to use AI generators effectively, and ideas for themed coloring activities at home or in the classroom. I test every coloring page with my kid before writing about it.
